    11. Andrus Peat
  21. Shocked the fans with the trades of Graham, Cooks, and Stills
  22. Battled through the tragedy that is Junior Galette’s life and his salary
  23. Overcame a 0-2 start to join other teams who also had a 9% chance to turn it and and who made it deep into the playoffs. Some of whom won the Super Bowl.
    1. 1993 Dallas Cowboys – Won Super Bowl
    2. 2001 New England Patriots – Won Super Bowl
    3. 2007 New York Giants – Won Super Bowl
    4. 1996 New England Patriots – Lost Super Bowl
  24. Beat the Washington Redskins by erasing an 15-point deficit in the last three minutes of regulation. Saints eventually won in overtime on a field goal just like they did in 2009 when Robert Meachem stripped an intercepted ball and returned it for a touchdown.
  25. Headset Gate – Outsides the Lines report that Mickey Loomis had the visiting coach’s room bugged in the Superdome.
  26. Whistle Gate – Tennessee Titans claim Saints were causing whistle havoc on the sidelines in 2011.

This is New Orleans. We survive, thrive and have fun doing it our way. Most teams don’t morph and become better. Most get better with a new coach.  Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis deserve credit for making difficult coaching personnel decisions at the beginning of this year and put loyalty to all the team above their loyalty to some great men they have coached with over the years. I still miss Joe Vitt but not the line backing play.

#GeauxSaints and beat the Vikes on Sunday.
