Saints add kicker Connor Barth to roster to compete with Kai Forbath.
Connor Barth, the former kicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, terrorized the Dome for many years with his accurate kicking. Now, he may have a chance for some Bucs payback. Barth saw the writing on the wall after the Bucs reached up in the draft to sign Roberto Aguayo, the highest drafted kicker in a decade. The Bucs drafted Aguayo in the second round and subsequently cut Barth (age 30).

The move to sign Barth comes after the Saints parted ways with veteran kicker Josh Scobee on Tuesday. He will compete with Kai Forbath for a spot on the roster. Barth missed five kicks over 40 yards last season, finishing the season 23-of-28 overall.
