Tim Hightower made an incredible comeback last year once he got the start after Khiry Robinson’s injury. He was cut twice by New Orleans last season before being brought back late in the season as a replacement for Robinson.

Saints fans always felt comfortable when the ball was in the hands of Hightower knowing he would close out the game.  Katherine Terrell of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported the Saints and the veteran running back have agreed to terms on a new contract.

Hightower will turn 30 this year and had not played for four years when the Saints took a chance on him last year.  The story of Tim Hightower is a reminder to never let go of your dreams and to always remain ready to take advantage of any chance you get.
