As a resident of Southern California, I don’t have a local NFL football team. I was more of a baseball fan than a football fan for almost all of my life. I didn’t truly become passionate about football until 2010. Having no local team to follow and no influence from family, I was off to find the team I’d cheer on. It just so happens that I stumbled upon the Saints–the black and gold jerseys won me over.

At the time, I knew very little about football. I learned a great deal about the Saints (and football) in a very short amount of time. I started following the team to a point of obsession around 2013. I love the Saints for too many reasons to list. Living in California has restricted me from being able to attend Saints games, so I was able to attend my first game when the Saints squared off against the Cardinals. The game was better than I could have imagined.

Despite the fact that I love baseball, football has become my favorite sport. There is so much to appreciate. I admire the strategy and athleticism that goes into every play.

I couldn’t be prouder to be a WHO DAT. The Saints play with heart every play and every game. Regardless of how the team is doing, I will always make sure to root them on and give my honest opinion regarding their performance. I’m excited to have the great opportunity to write for WhoDatWarriors.com, and I look forward to many more enjoyable seasons of Saints football. WHO DAT!!!
