Ten years ago today, Katrina crashed into our lives and separated the storyline of New Orleans into memories of life before the storm and after the storm.  She who must remain nameless–remains nameless.  Our storm stories are our preface … our shared community … our common bond … our shared coda

New Orleans’ cherished skyline, defined and shaped by the dOMe, was almost lost as the dOMe became a shelter of last resort on August 29, 2005.  But the Mercedes Benz SuperdOMe has now become a shining example of revival, renewal and restoration of our city and our Saints. Many happy memories within its confines cannot eclipse the tragedy the storm rained down upon the field in its aftermath; but, as we are wont do, we celebrate what cannot be diminished or changed–our joie de vivre.
